Urban Gladiators was born from the desire to create a training program focused on natural and functional movements. Our goal is to make fitness practical for everyday life again and regain lost movement abilities.
We’ve combined elements from various sports, such as martial arts, gymnastics, track and field, and weightlifting, along with modern functional training exercises to develop a versatile program. This program is designed for amateur athletes, allowing them to significantly enhance their performance, much like professional athletes, without the risk of overtraining.
The overwhelming interest from our participants have encouraged us to continue growing and diversifying our training options. We are therefore pleased to announce that we have expanded our programme to include Calisthenics, Aerial Silks & Acrobatics as well as Prevention Courses. Additionally we offer Prenatal and Postnatal Training for pregnant women and new mums and of course you can book training sessions with an experienced English Personal Trainer.
While performance improvement is key, having fun is just as important to us! The energy of the group, teamwork, and a friendly, motivating atmosphere are what drive us. That’s why we work in small groups, ensuring a personal experience and high-quality guidance throughout each session.

What is Functional Training?

What do you train in Functional Training?
Everything that makes you stronger, more flexible and more resilient: lifting, twisting, bending, walking – natural movements that you need every day. Using bodyweight, kettlebells or medicine balls, you train efficiently and in a variety of ways.
Which exercises are included?
Squats, lunges, planks, push-ups, kettlebell swings or deadlifts. Exercises that challenge you – and noticeably improve your fitness for everyday life and sport.
